Website Visitor Privacy Notice
This notice is for anyone who visits dimeleadership.com, sends us an enquiry through the website, or signs up to hear about new WORKS thinking. If your relationship with us goes further, one of the notices below will also apply. It should be read alongside our Cookie Policy.
1. Who we are
The data controller for information collected through this website is Development in Motion Enterprise Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 07929853 at 24a Aldermans Hill, London, N13 4PN. You can contact us about privacy matters at privacy@dimeleadership.com.
2. The information we collect
- When you send an enquiry: your name, your organisation if you give it, your email address, and whatever you choose to tell us in the message. We also record which page of the site you were on when you started the enquiry, so we understand which of our services people are responding to.
- When you sign up for WORKS thinking: your email address.
- Technical information created automatically when any website is visited, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is held in our hosting provider's server logs.
We do not ask for special category information anywhere on this website, and we would ask you not to include anything sensitive or confidential in an enquiry message. There will be a time and place for that conversation, and a web form is not it.
3. How we use it
We use enquiry information to reply to you, to understand what you need, and to decide together whether Dime is the right partner. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us, and, where a conversation progresses, taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We use the page you came from to understand which services generate interest, which is our legitimate interest in running and developing our business. It tells us about pages, not about you.
We use your email address for WORKS signups only to send you that thinking. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by signing up and can withdraw at any time. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and we will not use a WORKS signup as a route to sell to you.
4. Who we share it with
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which also receives and stores the submissions from our enquiry and signup forms and passes them to us by email. Netlify acts as our processor and handles this information on our instructions. Our business email is provided by Microsoft. Beyond these providers, and the recipients described in the other notices on this page if your relationship with us progresses, we do not share information collected through this website. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising or social media tracking on this site.
5. International transfers
Netlify is based in the United States, so information you submit through a form on this website is transferred outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, which may include the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The safeguards described in the notices below apply equally to any onward handling of your information.
6. How long we keep it
Where an enquiry leads to a client relationship, we keep it under the retention periods set out in the Corporate Client Privacy Notice below. Where an enquiry does not lead anywhere, we keep it for up to 12 months and then delete it, including the copy held by our hosting provider. WORKS signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Server logs are kept for the short period our hosting provider retains them.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to ask for deletion or restriction in certain circumstances, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to receive information you have provided in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact privacy@dimeleadership.com and we will respond within one month.
8. Concerns and complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled personal information, you can complain directly to us at privacy@dimeleadership.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate without undue delay and tell you the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Corporate Client Privacy Notice
This notice is for our contacts at the organisations we work with or are in discussion with, including sponsors of coaching programmes, procurement and HR contacts, and prospective clients.
1. Who we are
The data controller for the personal information described in this notice is the Dime Leadership company you deal with: Development in Motion Enterprise Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 07929853 at 24a Aldermans Hill, London, N13 4PN, for UK and international relationships, or Dime Consulting, registered in the Dubai World Trade Centre free zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where it is the contracting company. Where an engagement is not yet under contract, Development in Motion Enterprise Ltd is the controller for our correspondence with you. You can contact us about privacy matters at privacy@dimeleadership.com.
2. The information we hold
- Your business contact details, including your name, role, organisation, email address and phone number.
- Correspondence and records relating to enquiries, proposals, contracts and the administration of engagements.
- Financial and billing information needed to invoice and account for our work.
- Information you share with us about your organisation's context, objectives and people in the course of designing and delivering engagements.
3. How we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, enter into and perform contracts, deliver and administer engagements, invoice and maintain business records, and to keep in touch about our work, insights and events. Our lawful bases are the performance of a contract or steps taken before entering one, our legitimate interests in running and developing our business, and compliance with legal obligations such as accounting and tax rules. Where we send you thought leadership or event invitations, we rely on legitimate interests in the context of an existing business relationship, or on your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Coaching confidentiality
Where your organisation sponsors coaching for its people, we want to be transparent about what you will and will not receive. The content of individual coaching sessions is confidential to the coachee. Reporting to sponsors is limited to administrative information, such as attendance, and themes agreed with the coachee at the outset of the engagement. This boundary protects the effectiveness of the coaching and reflects our professional obligations under ICF and BPS standards.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only where necessary: with members of the Dime Leadership team under confidentiality obligations, with service providers who support our business and act on our instructions, with professional advisers, and with regulators or authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information.
6. International transfers
Dime Leadership operates between the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates and works with clients globally, so information may be accessed outside the UK. Where this happens we apply appropriate safeguards, including UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Information shared between our UK and UAE companies is protected by an intra-group data sharing agreement incorporating these safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
We keep records of client relationships and engagements for up to 6 years after the relationship or engagement ends, and financial records for at least 6 years as required by UK law. Contact details used to keep in touch are retained until you opt out or we become aware they are no longer current.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to ask for deletion or restriction in certain circumstances, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing, and to receive information you have provided in a portable format. Contact privacy@dimeleadership.com and we will respond within one month.
Coaching Client Privacy Notice
This notice is for individuals who receive coaching or related services from Dime Leadership, whether you engage us directly or your organisation sponsors your programme. It explains how we handle your personal information and sits alongside your coaching agreement.
1. Who we are
The data controller for your personal information is the Dime Leadership company named in your coaching agreement: either Development in Motion Enterprise Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 07929853 at 24a Aldermans Hill, London, N13 4PN, or Dime Consulting, registered in the Dubai World Trade Centre free zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you are unsure which company you are engaging with, contact us at privacy@dimeleadership.com and we will confirm. Coaching is delivered by Tanya Gordon, a Principal Business Psychologist accredited by the British Psychological Society and credentialed by the International Coaching Federation, and our handling of your information reflects the professional and ethical standards of those bodies.
2. The information we hold about you
- Your identity, contact and professional details, including your role, organisation and relevant career history.
- Information you share in sessions, including goals, challenges, reflections and feedback, together with the notes we keep to support your programme. Coaching conversations may naturally touch on wellbeing, relationships and other personal matters.
- Psychometric or diagnostic assessment data, where an assessment forms part of your agreed programme.
- Programme administration records, such as your agreement, scheduling correspondence and, where you engage us directly, invoicing information.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to design and deliver your coaching programme, to prepare for and follow up on sessions, to administer the engagement, and to meet our legal and professional obligations. Our lawful bases are the performance of our contract with you or with your sponsoring organisation, our legitimate interests in delivering and administering our services, and compliance with legal obligations. Where information shared in coaching or generated by assessment is special category data, such as information about your health or wellbeing, we rely on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Confidentiality and your sponsor
The content of your coaching sessions is confidential to you. Where your organisation sponsors your programme, we agree the boundaries of reporting with you and your sponsor at the outset. Unless otherwise agreed, sponsors receive only administrative information, such as attendance, and themes agreed with you. We do not share session content, assessment results or notes with your sponsor without your agreement.
There are limited exceptions. We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or where we believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or to others. Wherever possible we would discuss this with you first.
5. Coaching supervision
In line with ICF and BPS professional standards, our coaching practice is supported by professional supervision. Client material discussed in supervision is anonymised, and your identity is not disclosed.
6. Who else sees your information
Access to your information within Dime Leadership is limited to those who need it to support your programme, all of whom are bound by confidentiality. We use trusted service providers for scheduling, document storage, email and accounting, who act on our instructions as processors. Where an accredited assessment provider administers a psychometric instrument, they process your responses under their own published terms, which we will share with you before the assessment.
7. International transfers
Dime Leadership operates between the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates and works with clients globally, so your information may be accessed outside the UK. Where this happens we apply appropriate safeguards, including UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with practical security measures. Information shared between our UK and UAE companies is protected by an intra-group data sharing agreement incorporating these safeguards.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep coaching records, including notes and agreements, for up to 6 years after the end of your programme, reflecting limitation periods for legal claims and professional body requirements, after which they are securely deleted or destroyed. You may ask us to delete session notes earlier, and we will do so unless we have a legal or professional reason to retain them.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to ask for it to be deleted or restricted in certain circumstances, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to receive information you have provided in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@dimeleadership.com and we will respond within one month.
10. Concerns and complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, you can complain directly to us at privacy@dimeleadership.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate it without undue delay and tell you the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If you join us, your application information becomes part of your working relationship records and is covered by the privacy information provided at that point.
5. Sharing and transfers
